Pay Rate: £11.83 per hour plus 5.6 weeks AL Pro Rata

Job Description

The Employer is seeking a new Casual Support Worker to join the team to provide holiday cover.  This is for weekday social support.   Shadow shifts will be arranged and training will be given on the job regarding the support needed.

– Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred but not required

– Compassionate and patient demeanour

– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

– Ability to work independently and as part of a team

– Reliable transportation to travel to clients’ homes or care facilities

– Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

Post subject to successful reference and PVG checks.

Two up to date Reference contacts are required one of which must be from a present or previous employer. In addition, a new PVG enhanced disclosure will be required prior to appointment (disclosure cost to be met by the employer).
