Female Support worker /. Driver required to support a lady who has a learning disability. She is in her late 30s.

She lives at home with her family

Hours: 9hrs per week , with potential additional hrs available

Days and hrs to be discussed at interview, employer willing to be flexible for the right candidate

Duties

Personal Assistant support worker required to support a lady who has a learning disability. She is in her early 30s and relates well to people in their mid 20s and 30s, of her own peer group.

She lives at home with her family

Duties will include providing company and support to do the things she likes, thi includes driving her motability car. She is interested in:

Going swimming

Bowling

Going out for lunch

She also enjoys Arts and Crafts and playing board games.

Going to a cafe and clubs

You will be required to encourage and support her with her social activities.

Experience / Qualifications Required

Previous experience working in the care sector, preferred but not essential

Qualities

This vacancy would requires someone, kind, caring and non-judgemental, reliable and able to work flexibly. Applicants must be confident, outgoing, friendly and cheerful.

Must have full clean drivers licence, as will be driving employers vehicle

Successful applicants will have to provide 2 references (one of which must be your current or most recent employer) and undergo a New or update PVG Disclosure at the employers cost.
