Living wage rate – £12.60 per hour , wages are paid 4 weekly in arrears. |

5.6 weeks paid Annual leave pro rate for contracted staff |
Days of work / times required

You will be required to be available to work Saturdays and Sundays or alternate weekends, as well as Monday, Wednesday and Friday after Day care centre till 5pm
Times and days can be further discussed at interview stage |
Job Purpose | To support a young lady who has a learning disabilities with a sight impairment to socialise within her community. She loves swimming, bowling, outdoor activities, music, dancing |
Employer | You will be employed by a personal employer, who will be assisted to administer payroll and undertake the necessary employment support responsibilities by a relevant support organisation. |
Probationary period

· There is a 6 month probationary period attached to the post
· Successful applicant will have to undergo a new or update of the PVG disclosure scheme and supply 2 up to date reference contacts prior to appointment |
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Personalise as required |
You will be responsible for supporting the person to engage in all aspects of community life and activities as directed by her family.
You may be assisting with some personal care tasks as directed by the employer Being flexible is a key component to this job and you will be guided by the family about the particular activities she wants to participate in at particular times and you are expected to support her choices. You may be required to work in the evening, weekends to support her interests. This will usually be planned in advance. You will be required have your own car to take the young person out and about, fuel costs will be reimbursed. You must have business use on your car Ins and provide a copy of this if you are successful. You should be willing and able to drive out and about with confidence and support her travelling to various locations. You may at times be required to provide companionship in her own home. |
