2 P/T Female Support worker/ Drivers
Hours:
Post 1 = 20hrs per week, 80hrs per 4-week period. Flexibility required.
Post 2 = 12hrs per week , 48hrs in a 4 week period, flexibility required
wages will be paid at £10.90 per hour
Days / Hours:
20hr post : shifts will be explained at interview stage.
12hr post – to be discussed at interview
Duties
Personal Assistant support worker required to support a lady who has a learning disability. She is in her late 30s.
She lives at home with her family
Duties will include providing company and support to do the things she likes. She is interested in:
Going swimming
Bowling
Going out for lunch
She also enjoys Arts and Crafts and playing board games.
Going to a cafe
You will be required to encourage and support her with her social activities and engaging in her community.
Experience / Qualifications Required
Previous experience working in the care sector, preferably supporting young adults with extra support needs would be an advantage, but NOT essential . Full driving license required, as will be driving the employers vehicle, which is manual.
Qualities
This vacancy would requires someone, kind, caring and non-judgemental, reliable and able to work flexibly. Applicants must be confident, outgoing, friendly and cheerful.
***This position is subject to a 6 month probationary period, with a 1 weeks’ notice within this time if the post does not work out.
